Busheri, Aharon
Son of Moshe and Miriam. Was born on September 10, 1920 in Jerusalem to a large Jerusalem family. In his youth he was orphaned from his parents and forced to support his younger brothers. He studied at the “Doresh Tzion” seminary in Jerusalem. When he was a boy, he was a member of the Hanoar Haoved Vehalomed movement and took part in all the circles organized by the movement. Due to the difficulties of education at home, he was sent to the Meir Shfeya youth village where he received an excellent education and acquired a good profession. Then he moved to Tel Aviv to pursue his studies. In order to finance his studies he worked very hard in the garage and in the evening sat on the school floor. He studied at the Max Payne Professional High School in Tel Aviv until he was certified as a certified mechanic. He volunteered for the Palmach and served as a driver in a transport company, and was drafted into the IDF in 1950. After his discharge he was called from time to time to serve in the reserves. During the last ten years of his life, he was a member of the parents’ committees of the elementary school students in which his sons studied. He was also active among the worshipers of the local synagogue and the site for the development and prosperity of the synagogue. On February 28, 1971, when he was in active reserve duty, he fell in the line of duty and left a wife and four children and was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Holon.
