Burstein, Uzi
Uzi, the only son of Abraham and Bracha Burstein, members of Kibbutz Mahanayim in the Upper Galilee, was born on January 5, 1941. At the age of 17 and a half, he volunteered for the ranks of the IDF and served in Golani. During the Six-Day War, Uzi was called up for reserve duty in the Armored Corps and then stood up as a non-Arrowhead fighter and stuck to his mission, although he was not a war man. He fell in the Dotan Valley in the Shomron during the bombing of airplanes, on 27 Iyar, 6.6.1967. He put down a wife. He was buried in the military cemetery in Haifa and was later transferred to eternal rest in the cemetery in his kibbutz in Yifat.
