Bunkowski, Moshe-Chaim
Son of Shimon and Pearl. He was born on June 18, 1936 in Warsaw, capital of Poland. The family immigrated to Israel in 1948. After graduating from an elementary school in Acre, he attended a vocational school in the evening and worked as a welder. Due to the difficult economic situation, the whole family depended on him and even looked up at him for the future. He was interested in sports and bounty. Was drafted into the IDF in May 1954. He was proud that he was among the people the people needed, and on 9/9/1954 he fell in the line of duty and was put to rest at the military cemetery in Nahariya. His memory was mentioned in the book “The Paratroop Wars” by Uri Milstein.
