Bumash, Enoch

Son of Mordechai and Rivka. He was born on the 18th of Tevet 5619 (21.12.1918) in Harbin, China. He graduated from high school there. Was proud of his Jewishness and defended her honor in clashes with Christian boys who harmed him. He also attended a high school of music and played in the Harbin Symphony Orchestra. He was active there in Betar and Maccabi youth and sports movements and immigrated to Israel in 1949. When he arrived, he was obliged to work hard because his financial situation was bad, but he loved life and joy. The hobby was photography, was drafted into the IDF in August 1951 and was a member of the military orchestra. Died on his illness on July 6, 1963 and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. He left a wife and two sons
