Bugler, David


David (Dubi), son of Chava and Mordechai, was born on July 18, 1952, in Orade, Romania, and immigrated to Israel with his family in 1961. He studied at the Rahamim elementary school in Dimona and then completed his studies at home – The surrounding high school in the town. David was drafted into the IDF in early November 1970 and assigned to the Armored Corps. Shortly before midnight, David received an order to leave and rescue a tank crew who had been hit by an Egyptian infantry force, and David’s tank was hit by a missile and set on fire, His body was later discovered and he was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Dimona, followed by a father, a mother, and a brother.
