Brownfeld, David

Son of Moshe. He was born in 1916 in the Czech Republic. In 1939 he immigrated to Eretz Israel and worked as an agricultural laborer in Pardes Hannah. On 27 Nissan 5703 (1.5.1943), a German reconnaissance plane was flying over the convoy of the “Aryanpura”. David’s ship was hit by a direct hit and drowned, and one hundred and forty members of Company 462 were killed in the disaster, David among them.
