Bronner, Itamar
Son of Efraim and Use. He was born on the 1st of Tevet 5707 (January 1, 1947) in Kfar Szold, where he graduated from the high school in Givat Haim, and was a member of the Hanoar Haoved movement, which also belonged to the Gadna. He was drafted into the IDF in July 1965 as part of the Nahal Brigade, and a few days later, on the 24th of Tammuz 5727 (July 24, 1965), he fell in the line of duty and was brought to rest in the civilian cemetery in Givat Hayim-Ihud. The pear grove, which Itamar took part in planting, was called by his fellow workers “Gan Itamar” since they fell.
