Brom, David

Son of Yaffe and Masod was born on October 11, 1960, in Afula. He joined the army in May 1978, completed a basic training course and served in the Gunners Corps. On 4 Sivan, 19.5.1980, he was sent from his base in the north to Gadot, in the Upper Galilee, where an accident took place near the Gonen Junction, when the vehicle he was traveling in was overturned and David was killed. He left behind his parents, four sisters and two brothers, and was promoted to corporal after his death. A Torah scroll was donated to the Rambam Synagogue in Givat Hamoreh in Afula, where his family prays.
