Brill, Hananel


Son of-Batya and Nathan was born on May 28, 1926 in Haifa. He completed six grades of the Reali School there, and then in 1942 he moved to the second grade of the Naval School of the Hebrew University in Haifa and in June 1945 completed his studies there. Hananel belonged to the “Zevulun” sea-goers association and his friends loved and respected him for his devotion to the idea of ​​Hebrew naval pioneering. He was a crew member on the Kedma ship and as a member of the Haganah, one of his duties was the transfer of weapons. On the 19th of Tevet 5708 (January 1, 1948), he fell in the line of duty and was put to rest at the military cemetery in Petah Tikva.
