Brick, Yitzhak (Itzik)


Yitzhak, son of Elsa and Asher Brick, was born in 1924 in Vienna, Austria. He immigrated from Denmark to Israel in 1941 and lived in Kibbutz Gezer. Yitzhak was a painter, a sculptor and a musician. During the War of Independence, the Legion Company organized forces and armored vehicles and attacked the kibbutz, conquering it. Yitzchak fell on 3 Sivan, June 10, 1948. He was brought to eternal rest in a mass grave in Gezer. He left a wife and a daughter, who was born after he fell.
