Breslevsky, Amos


Son of Yitzhak and Dina. He was born on July 1, 1940 in Tel Aviv. During the days of the riots and during the War of Independence, the family was forced to move to Kfar Saba, where Amos was brought to the “Alumim” boarding school. His adjustment there was difficult and yet he overcame these difficulties and stood out among the children there. He was a teenager when he arrived in Na’an, lively and energetic, where he graduated from high school. He belonged to the Hanoar Haoved movement and was a member of the Na’an Farm. He was drafted into the IDF in November 1959. He died in his illness on September 8, 1966. He was brought to rest in the cemetery in Na’an, where he published a pamphlet called Amos containing memoirs written by the family and his friends .
