Breitner, Simcha-Yitzhak
Simcha-Yitzhak (“Itzish”), Ben Magda and Aharon-Yehuda, was born on August 27, 1952 in Haifa. Yitzhak was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces in early November 1970 and was assigned to the Armored Corps, where he completed his training in the Armored Corps course and served as an instructor in the Armored Corps. On the day of Yom Kippur, a tank force of Yitzhak’s company left for Kantara, and when the tanks approached the city, a heavy fire opened and the tank that Yitzhak drove was hit and retreated.
