Brayer, Chaim-Michael
Son of Bat Sheva. He was born in Budapest in September 1939. He studied in the city of Szeged, where he studied carpentry, and immigrated to Eretz Israel in 1932, despite the opposition of his family. He joined the Haganah in 1934. During World War II, he joined the British Army and was assigned to the Engineering Corps, and in March 1941 he was sent to Greece with the British Expeditionary Force to stop the German invasion of this country. He was taken captive by the Germans and spent four years in captivity. On the 12th of Shevat 5705 (January 16, 1945), during the escape of a member of the camp, Chaim was killed and his burial place is unknown.
