Daughter of Yehudit and Shmuel. Was born on May 28, 1965 in Moshav Netaim, the youngest daughter in the family. She studied for eight years at the regional elementary school of Gan-Raveh and four years at the regional high school in Givat Brenner. From her childhood, she loved dance very much, discovered musical talent and began to play piano at the third grade. Her high school thesis was in music: Mozart – Piano Recital. During her high school years, she was active in training in the youth movement of the moshavim and participated in the group’s hikers’ club, in addition to her work in the family’s developed agricultural farm, which was based mainly on flower hothouses. With dedication and responsibility, she enlisted in economic assistance while doing all the other activities in school and movement. After graduating from high school, Rakefet volunteered for a year of service in the Oded group in the Besor region in the western Negev. In November 1984, she enlisted in the IDF and was sent to a senior clerical course as a coordinator of a special operations room On the holiday of 15 Adar 5745 (8 March 1985), she lost her life in a road accident before the age of 20. She was laid to rest in Moshav Netaim, Accompanied by her parents Yehudit and Shmuel, her sister Eilat, her brother Tsafrir, all the family members, many friends, friends and many residents of the region
