Box, Zvi Pesach (Herman)

Son of Toni and Philip. He was born on 19 July 1919 in Berlin and completed his studies there in elementary school. When he was fifteen, he immigrated with his parents to Eretz Israel. The family settled in Tel Aviv and Zvi Pesach specialized in carpentry. As a member of Beitar from his youth, he spent most of his time in the youth movement. He was sent to serve in Greece and Crete, where he was taken prisoner, transferred to a prisoner-of-war camp, then returned to Israel. His physical condition was bad and he was transferred to the government hospital in Tsrifin. Zvi Pesach died on 29 Sivan (10.6.1945). He was laid to rest in the cemetery in Nahalat Yitzhak.
