David was born in 1934 in Morocco. He attended elementary school in his hometown. Salomon was the only child of his parents, and therefore the connection between them was strong and stable. Everyone recognized him as a friendly and friendly boy, honest and conscientious, but above all devoted and loyal to his parents. In his youth he went to work to help his parents pay for the family. At first he engaged in fishing and later specialized in carpentry. He had a quick grasp and belief hands, and soon he became known as an excellent professional. In 1956 he immigrated to Israel with his parents, and the family settled in Ashkelon. Because of his parents’ illness, Salomon was forced to bear the burden of supporting the family. He worked day and night in various jobs and did not have much time to spend his time studying. In mid-February 1957 he enlisted in the IDF and was assigned to the Engineering Corps, and after completing his basic training, he was assigned to one of the engineering units, and was very loyal to his commanders and members of the unit. During the reserve service, he underwent professional retraining and became a combat soldier. As a reservist, he took part in the Six-Day War and was awarded the war signal. He also participated in the Yom Kippur War and left. He was awarded the ‘Yom Kippur War Medal’ and was even promoted to the rank of corporal. Over the years he married his girlfriend, Simi, and they had four children: Odette, David, Yossi and Moshe. Salomon was an excellent husband and a good father to his children. He spent a lot of time helping his wife with housework. On the 17th of Tishrei 5736 (17.9.1975) he fell in the discharge of his duties in the area of ​​Moshav Neviot. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. He left behind a wife, three sons, a daughter and a mother. In a letter of condolence to the bereaved family, his commander wrote: “We knew Salomon as a disciplined and devoted soldier who was always ready to fulfill any task and make it easier for his friends.
