Son of Moshe and Hannah. He was born on Sunday, February 14, 1945 in Tel Aviv and studied at the Givat Hashalom Elementary School and at the Municipal High School, both in Tel Aviv, and he was active in the Students’ Sports Association (ASA) Hapoel “. He specialized mainly in diving, swimming and judo. However, he loved classical music and a lot of reading serious literature, especially works by authors who describe human relations. He was educated on values ​​of work, respect for others and love of the homeland, and was an avid fan of nature. In 1961 he successfully completed the Daya course, and participated in many pre-military courses. He was drafted into the IDF at the end of August 1962. After completing his high school studies, he was accepted as a student in the Faculty of Psychology and Philosophy at the Tel Aviv University, where he completed high school studies at the age of 20 and was awarded the title. During his university studies, he was active in social activities and was elected to the Student Council, representing ASA in swimming and judo, in various shows. In addition, he taught hard-to-educate youths in an urban institution in Tel Aviv and was highly regarded by both supervisors and apprentices. He was convinced that society had neglected them and that they should be restored in a continuous and dedicated work. He was an active member of the Association for Underwater Activities in Israel, and participated countless times in the Sea of ​​Galilee and in many ointments conducted by Hapoel throughout the country, at the Jaffa Port and in the Tel Aviv Port, Ashkelon, Eilat, Emek Hefer and many other places. Photography was his second hobby, and in his estate there are albums full of artistic photographs. In 1965 he continued his service as a psychologist in the navy. At the end of 1968 he was sent to Sinai, where he was severely wounded. He bravely struggled for weeks on his young life and finally recovered, thanks to the superhuman efforts of the doctors at the Tel Hashomer hospital, but was recognized as an IDF veteran and enrolled in a university in Jerusalem for a Master’s degree in psychology. In spite of his injury and disability, he participated in the ASA Championship in Judo, won the title of “ASA” and received a gold medal, during which time he also wrote and wrote many songs, including many songs on which he was associated until his days The last one, on the eve of the 5th of Nissan 5736 (30.3.1971), fell on his watch. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. A sports field and a forest were dedicated to his memory at the Givat Hashalom School; His memory is commemorated every year at the school by two scholarships given to outstanding students
