Borenzweig, Avraham Bar
Son of Israel. He was born on November 5, 1898, in the city of Kuzmir, Poland, where he moved to Germany and settled in the city of Magdeburg where he worked as a tailor. He lived in the Kiryat Yosef neighborhood near Nachalat Yitzhak, married and had a son, earning his livelihood as a wagon driver and carrying loads of goods and merchandise in his wagons. On the 19th of Tammuz (July 17, 1938), he was murdered in an ambush on his return from work, near the Sarona police station. Avraham was buried in a mass grave in the old cemetery in Tel Aviv, leaving behind his wife and son.
