Boot, Avraham-Eliezer (Avi)


Avraham-Eliezer (Avi), son of Sonya and Aryeh, was born on 28.6.1954 in Tel Aviv. Avraham was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces in mid-May 1972 and was assigned to the Armored Corps, and after completing basic training, he was a good soldier, responsible and devoted to his position. When the Yom Kippur War broke out, he was sent to the front of the Golan Heights with the “Barak” brigade and fought in the tank on October 9, 1973. On October 9, 1973, near Kuneitra, Avraham fell in battle. He was brought to rest in the cemetery in Holon and left behind a father, a mother, and a brother, who was promoted to the rank of corporal
