Bombard, Ze’ev (“Zeno”, “Zenk”)
Son of Shalom and Olga. He was born on July 19, 1947, in the city of Ganitza, Poland, where he completed his studies in elementary school and later completed high school and received a matriculation certificate. To Israel in July 1965, and a year later in August 1966 he was drafted into the IDF and served in the paratroopers. In the midst of his regular service, on the first day of the battles of the Six-Day War, he was on the 6th of Iyar 5727 (5.6.1967). He fell in a battle in the village near Sheikh Zweid in Sinai. He was buried in the military cemetery in Bari and was later transferred to eternal rest in the Kiryat Shaul military cemetery
