Bobker, Yehezkel
Son of Lena and Eliezer, was born on Frankfurt, Germany on May 13, 1931. When the Nazi pressure increased, the family fled to Belgium, and his parents barely succeeded in allowing him to continue his education and studies. He returned to Belgium and lived there in constant fear, and at the end of 1945 he was deported to Eretz Israel, where he moved to Atlit and then moved with his sister to the religious youth village. He loved Hebrew literature and everything he missed in his youth, he loved the work, especially the work in the field, he always wanted to work hard. And very much to all his friends in his cheerfulness and alertness, and after a while he moved to the Ein Hanatziv group. At the outbreak of the War of Independence, he served in the Golani brigade and was seventeen and a half years old. Fought bravely and loyally in Nazareth and the Galilee and was transferred to the Negev. On the 7th of Kislev 5709 (December 7, 1948), he fell in battles in the Urim region during the “Asaf” operation and was buried on the borders.
