Blumenfeld, Rami

Rami Blumenfeld, son of Rina and Marco, was born on April 19, 1963 in Tiberias. After completing his studies in August 1981, he enlisted in the IDF and volunteered for the Paratroopers Brigade. When the Peace for Galilee war broke out, Rami was with the force that began the battles on the first day of the war. The following day, on the 16th of Sivan (7.6.1982), his unit encountered a terrorist ambush. Rami was killed. He was 19 years old when he died. Rami was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Tiberias. He left behind his parents, a brother and three sisters.
