Blinko, Akiva

Son of Mordechai (Marco) and Diamant. Born in Alexandria, Egypt, on January 19, 1934. Graduated from elementary school there and belonged to “Bnei Akiva” and immigrated to Israel in 1950. He was a sports enthusiast and was drafted into the IDF in January 1951. He fell in battle at the Jordan River near the Sea of ​​Galilee on the 5th of Nissan, 5701 (1951) and was brought to rest at the military cemetery in Afula.
