Blenfann (Benf-Ami), Moshe (“Bolo”)

Moshe, son of Jacob and Tzila Blenfann (son of-Ami), was born on September 9, 1931 in Jerusalem. At the age of 16, when he joined the Palmach, one of his activities was the transfer of illegal immigrants from “illegal” ships that reached the shores of the country at that time. After completing his high school studies, he enlisted in the IDF and became a soldier in the full sense of the word, and after completing his army service he participated in the War of Independence in the Harel Brigade, the conquest of the Castel and the breakthrough to Jerusalem. On 13 Iyar (30.4.1950) Moshe fell in the line of duty and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
