Blanc, Shoshana Sarah Rachela

During the Second World War, she enlisted in the British army and was placed as a driver for the women’s auxiliary corps in a camp near Gaza. As part of her service in the IAF, she was promoted to sergeant. Shoshana was loved by her friends and devoted to her role, although she did not like army life. On December 20, 1944, while she was planning plans for civilian life, she was killed in a road accident in Israel and was put to rest in the British Military Cemetery in Ramla.
