Biton, Simon

Son of Binyamin and Haviva. He was born in 1947 in the city of Tirzat, Morocco, and when he was 10 years old, he immigrated to Israel in 1957. He attended elementary school in Tiberias and was active in youth organizations. He did not hold a grudge against anyone and was honest in all his ways and was therefore loved by everyone.In February 1965 he was drafted into the IDF. His commander told him that he was willing to help his comrades-in-law after he had finished his job. On the 2nd of Sivan 5765 (2.6.1965) he fell while fulfilling his duties and was brought to eternal rest in the civil cemetery in Tiberias.
