Bistocker, Tomer


Son of Nancy and Yoeli. Tomer. Born on the 12th of Tishrei, September 25, 1996 at the Soroka Hospital in Be’er Sheva. On August 3, 2015, Tomer was drafted into the IDF for the Logistics Corps, where he completed a continuous training course from basic training through a logistics course, officers ‘training course, and an officers’ training course. Tomer chose to serve as an officer in the northern brigade in the Gaza Division. At the end of 2016, he began serving as an assistant brigade logistics officer at the Re’im base in the south. He was an intelligent, diligent, and patient officer. As a commander, he took care of his combat soldiers and made sure that the tasks were carried out in full and that every soldier received what was required of him. Lieutenant Tomer fell during his duties on the 21st of Shevat, February 16, 2017. He was twenty and a half years old. He was laid to rest in the cemetery in Ma’abot, in the military section. He was survived by his parents and sisters.
