Bertschneider, Mordechai

Son of Malka and Hermann, was born on October 7, 1915 in Czernowitz, Romania, and immigrated to Israel in 1946. He worked as a radio technician. During the War of Independence, he was drafted into the IDF, and on 3 June 1948 he was wounded in an Egyptian bombardment of Rishon LeZion and transferred to a hospital on the 20th of Tammuz 5708 (20.7.1948), died of his wounds and was put to rest in the Nachlat Yitzhak military cemetery. A wife and a daughter.
