Berniker, Joseph (Joe)

Ben Rose and Lucian Block. He was born on December 19, 1954 in the United States and immigrated to Israel in 1974. He completed his elementary and high school studies in the United States and then studied for one year in the Department of Philosophy at the College. After immigrating to Israel, he lived on Kibbutz Gesher HaZiv. Yosef was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces in early 1975. After completing basic training, he took part in a training course in the Armored Corps unit and was assigned to the Armored Corps unit as a combat soldier and noncom. Very self-disciplined.
