Berman, Tali (Tal)

Bat Sara and Demitri Born in Ashdod on October 23, 1960, Tal was drafted into the IDF in February 1979 and placed in the Signal Corps. She finished her wireless course and received a certificate of excellence from the base commander. After the course, Tal was placed in the Armored Corps School and was waiting for a summons for an officer’s course. But a fatal car accident interrupted her young life. Tal fell during her duties on the 20th of Av 5739 (20.8.1979) and was brought to rest in the burial plot of IDF soldiers in the Ashdod cemetery, where she left behind her parents, sister, and brother.
