Berger, Zvi
Zvi, son of Yisrael and Penina Berger, was born on August 31, 1955 in the city of Bilbe, in Lower Silesia, Poland. In 1957, the family immigrated to Israel and settled in Ra’anana. In August 1974, Zvi was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces, and was assigned to the Ordnance Corps, where he served as a platoon commander. In an unfortunate accident, Zvi fell in the line of duty on the 11th of Adar 2, (13.3.1976). He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Ra’anana, where he left behind his parents and two brothers.
