Benker, Lily-Stefania (Leah)

Daughter of Sofia and Aharon-Adolf. She was born on September 18, 2121 in Lodz, Poland. In 1935 she immigrated to Eretz Israel. With the outbreak of World War II, she enlisted in the British Army for the Women’s Aid Corps. On July 28, 1945, she died in a plane crash on her way from Egypt to Israel. Was brought to rest in the Mount of Olives cemetery in Jerusalem. She put down parents. A memorial monument was erected in the British military cemetery in Ramla
