Benjamin, Eliyahu (‘Eli’)

Son of Abraham and Simchah, of blessed memory. He was born on May 9, 1956, in Haifa. He studied at the Morasha Elementary School and continued at the Ariel High School in Tirat Hacarmel. Eli was a diligent and intelligent student. He was a sports fan and loved to play soccer. He was cheerful and Simcha, friendly and loved to help others. Was devoted to his parents and cared for his family. Eli was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces in March 1975. After completing his basic training, he completed various courses in the IAF and was sent to serve in one of the units in the central region as a storekeeper. On July 17, 1976, he fell to the military cemetery in Haifa and left behind a father, four brothers and two sisters.
