Benita, Yehuda


Son of Sarah and Isaac. He was born on January 1, 1959, in the city of Colombia in Algeria. On his third birthday, he immigrated to Israel with his family and lived in Kiryat Shmona, where he grew up and was educated. Yehuda began his studies at the Rambam Elementary School and completed his carpentry career at the vocational training center “Youth Center”, and his dream was to open his own carpentry shop one day, Yehuda was a sportsman and especially a weightlifter, and Miriam had the best weights among his friends. Yehuda, or as he was called by his friends and family “Jewel,” was loved by all of them and was devoted to his family, and even when he was a young boy, he took part in the family’s livelihood, Yehuda loved his family with great love and helped them at all times He was free of his opinions, Yehuda respected the tradition that had been preserved in his parents’ house, and he was pleasant and modest, and because of his modesty, only a few of his friends knew about the family’s financial difficulties. He dreamed of saving money and buying a large car in which the family could travel in Israel, and his trips to Israel, especially in the north, were his great lovers. ) Yehuda fell during his service. He was nineteen when he died. He was laid to rest in the Kiryat Shmona military cemetery. Many members of his city accompanied his coffin and honored the memory of Yehuda, who was a well-known and beloved young man in the city. His loved ones and his family continue to visit his grave. Survived by his parents, four brothers – Prosper, Raymond, Morris and Yossi, and three sisters – Lucy, Flora and Shula.
