Bend, Pine
Son of Ora and Yerachmiel. He was born on August 12, 1967 in Givatayim, a Yaffa, black, curly-haired boy, quiet and humble in his ways, and began his studies at the Borochov Elementary School. He took every word and took every word, and always surprised his knowledge and skills. In a timid but loyal way, he acquired friends and sang calm and pleasant about his surroundings. He continued his high school studies with computers at Ort Technicom in Givatayim. A talented student and his grades attest to this. Oren was a candidate for the Academic Reserve for Computer and Electronics Studies at Tel Aviv University, but before he enlisted he signed a waiver. In August 1985, Oren was drafted into the army, and was assigned to the computer unit, where his commanders evaluated him as a very good soldier who filled a responsible role as a computer operator and a noncommissioned officer. On October 22, 1986, Oren fell during his service and was laid to rest at the Kiryat Shaul military cemetery. Survived by his parents, brother – Guy and sister Sigal. He was nineteen when he died. In a letter of condolence to the bereaved family, the unit commander wrote, among other things: “My acquaintance with the late Oren was quite close, considering the difference in ranks and ages between us. In the past few weeks he has agreed to temporarily assume responsibility for the team of the unit’s computer operators. Oren made good working and friendly relations with many of the soldiers and officers he served in the unit, beyond the deep friendships he had known before his military service “… the laughter that you laughed, the stormy arguments you conducted, you always helped and demonstrated, and took responsibility.
