Ben-Zvi, Rami

Rami, son of Leah and Amnon Son of-Zvi, was born on 19.11.1961 in Kibbutz Ein Harod Meuhad. Rami enlisted in the IDF at the end of October 1980 and was assigned to the Paratroopers Brigade during his basic training, and during his basic training he requested a transfer to another elite unit. On the 11th of Adar 5737 (March 12, 1987), Rami opened fire on a squad that had ambushed them in the area. Rami returned fire and he was hit by a bullet in the main artery in the neck and died of heavy blood loss.
