Ben Yishai, Yehonatan

Yehonatan, Nava and Shimon Meir Sharel son of Yishai’s son, was born in Ashdod in 1992. On March 13, 2011, Yehonatan was drafted into the IDF and served as a combat soldier in Battalion 51 of the Golani Brigade, and was killed in operational activity on 12 Elul, August 30, 2012. He was laid to rest in the Ashdod military cemetery, leaving behind his parents, a brother and two sisters.
