Ben-Yehuda, Netzachi


Son of Yitzhak and Miriam. He was born on the 16th of Tishrei, 5704 (October 16, 1943) in Rehovot. He completed his studies in an elementary school in Holon and later studied at the ORT vocational school and became a plumber. He belonged to the Hanoar Haoved movement. His hobby was the knowledge of the country and he used to walk the length and breadth of it. He had a warm human relationship with his friends and discovered a brilliant sense of humor. In these qualities he became fond of all his knowledge. He was responsible and devoted to the functions that were handed over to him. He was drafted into the IDF in November 1961. He fell in the line of duty on April 3, 1962, and was put to rest at the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. On Rosh Chodesh Tevet 5724 a Torah scroll was put in his synagogue in the neighborhood where his parents live.
