Ben-Yahya (Zeno), Benjamin (Bernard)

Son of Yitzhak and Sultana. He was born on August 19, 1944, in Algiers. In 1957, Benjamin and his younger brother were sent to Israel as part of Youth Aliyah, but two years later the father came and returned them, because the absorption lines were difficult and they could not adjust to life in Israel. But a few years later all the family members returned to Israel – Benjamin was inside it. The parents emigrated to France two years later, but Benjamin remained. When he arrived in the army, he chose to serve in the IDF and did not want to return to France, and in August 1964 he was drafted into the IDF and hoped that he would meet with his parents in France. However, on the 11th of Elul 5725 (September 9, 1965) he died and was brought to the eternal rest of the cemetery in Be’er Sheva
