Ben-Tov, Uri

Uri, son of Daniel and Pnina Son of-Tov, was born in 1975 in Bat Yam. He was active in the Bnei Akiva youth movement, and Uri joined the IDF in late November 1993. He passed a track in the Armored Corps, during which he successfully passed the courses for the infantry and served in the “Haruv” unit. Staff Sergeant Uri Son of-Tov fell in a battle in Shechem on the 13th of Tishrei (26.9.1996), during the disturbances of the Palestinians in the area of ​​Joseph’s Tomb. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Holon and left behind his grandmothers, grandfather, parents and two sisters.
