Rahamim, son of Aliza and Aharon, was born in Acre in 1953 and studied in the “Tomer” and “Bialik” elementary schools in Acre, and later attended the Darski High School in Acre, He was an outstanding athlete, mainly as a soccer player in the Hapoel Akko team, he taught sports, gymnastics and bodybuilding, and served as a counselor in the Gadna. . Most of his spare time was devoted to painting as a hobby. Rahamim was a Simcha young man, meticulous in cleanliness, and dressed in his proper clothes. He was always willing to help others and was admired by his friends, whom they affectionately called “Rahmo”. He was loyal to his parents and helped them with everything, including housework. Rahmu was active in the society and taught in various circles, in the field of culture and education. Rahamim was drafted into the IDF in mid-August 1971 and volunteered for the Paratroopers Brigade, after completing basic training and after completing a scouts course and parachuting course. At the end of his training, he was sent to the Sinai commando unit as a noncommissioned sergeant and was awarded the rank of sergeant, and he was a good soldier and a friend to his friends and subordinates because he was careful to take care of them and their comfort. In Sinai, and participated in various pursuits and activities for which he was awarded the “Operational Service Medal.” According to his commander, he was “an excellent soldier of great ability and level.” On October 15, 1973, Rahamim took part in the breakthrough at the ” , In the Chinese Farm area of ​​Sinai, where his half-track vehicle was hit and killed. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Nahariya. Survived by his parents and brothers. After his fall, he was promoted to First Sergeant. His parents purchased the book “Zohar” in his memory.
