Son of Kalman and Rachel. Born in the city of Constanta, Romania, on June 14, 1932, he completed his elementary and secondary studies abroad and immigrated to Israel in 1951. He was drafted into the IDF in late August 1951 and completed an Air Force technician course. He joined the career army at the end of August 1953. After serving a year as a mechanic in one of the corps’ combat squadrons, he attained the rank of sergeant and team leader. He was sent to France for two years to study and absorb the first French Air Force jets that were intended for the IDF, and served as a technical officer in the French jet fighter squadron, although he was only a month in the unit, A short time after the war, he returned to France to serve as technical officer of the Mirage plane, where he proved himself in all his greatness, as a technician, commander and educator, and instilled a generation of young technicians, He worked hard to impart values ​​related to good citizenship, love of others, and zeal for the army After the Six-Day War, he was appointed chief technical officer of one of the corps bases, and he also spared no effort to advance the unit and to treat its people as a personal example of its subordinates, He served for three years, while the base participated in the War of Attrition and re-established his professional equipment, and in the summer of 1970 he was transferred to the Air Force Headquarters to serve as a senior officer in the maintenance unit of the IAF. 1977.) Reuven passed away. He left a wife, a son, and two daughters. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. The IDF elevated him to the rank of lieutenant colonel from the day of his death.
