Son of Aviva and Yosef Haim. He was born on October 27, 1977, in Bnei Brak. Yedidya studied at the “cheder”, in the Talmud Torah in Bnei Brak and at the “Yesodot” school. He was of great size and loved by all who knew him. At the beginning of December 1995, Yedidya enlisted in the IDF and began basic training. Yedidya fell during his service on January 2, 1996. He was laid to rest in the Kiryat Shaul military cemetery, leaving parents, six sisters – Yifat, Tehila, Bruria, Tamima, Tzipora and Moriah , And his brother, Aharon, who commemorated him in a Torah library that was put into the Shaarei Yosef synagogue in Bnei Brak, in a Torah library that was placed in the Heichal Moshe synagogue in Bnei Brak, and in generous contributions to Torah study in memory of his soul.
