Ben-Natan, Ehud


Ehud, son of Bracha and Moshe Son of-Natan, was born on April 26, 1955 in Kfar Saba. Ehud was a good and disciplined student, admired by his friends and teachers, he was a wise and serious guy and always willing to help others, he was loyal and devoted to his parents, loved them and respected them very much. He successfully completed a course for heavy mechanical equipment operators and served as a equipment operator in an engineering-combat unit. During the Yom Kippur War, Ehud worked in various sectors in the Golan Heights. After the war he worked in fortification of the Golan Heights strongholds. On February 2, 1974, when he operated a tractor in Tel Fares, the Syrians began a heavy shelling of the outpost, and Ehud was hit and killed. He was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Even Yehuda. In a letter of condolence to the bereaved family, his commander wrote that Ehud was a devoted soldier, a loyal friend and friend of everyone he knew, and his parents donated a Yemenite Torah scroll to the Shem Tov Synagogue in Even Yehuda.
