Ben-Moshe (Koptzen), Yosef
Yosef, son of Chaya and Moshe Koptzen (Son of-Moshe), was born in 1914 in Droshkopols, Poland. He himself immigrated to Israel in 1934 and, despite being frail, immediately began working as a salaried worker in Rehovot. He then moved to Kfar Yehoshua, his uncle’s place of residence, and was hired as a salesman. With the outbreak of the bloody riots of 1936 he entered the night squads under the command of Orde Wingate, and on the 12th of Tammuz (11.7.1938) in a battle with an Arab gang of rioters near Daburiya, Yosef was killed, and he was brought to eternal rest in Kfar Yehoshua.
