Ben-Mocha, Armond (Armon)


Armond, son of Yosef and Lisa Son of-Mocha, was born in 1934 in Morocco and immigrated to Israel in 1956. In August 1960 he was drafted into the IDF. After basic training he was assigned to serve in the General Staff. Throughout his service, he played his role faithfully and diligently. Armond cared for his widowed father and the rest of his family. Before his release he married and raised a family. After leaving military service, Armond lived with his family in Rishon Letzion. He was very devoted to his wife and four children – a model father and husband.During his service in the reserves, he fell in the line of duty on 20 Cheshvan (20.11.1978), and was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Rishon Letzion, leaving behind a wife, four children, and a brother.
