Ben-Miyur, Aharon
Ben Jacob and Victoria. Born in Sofia, capital of Bulgaria, on September 9, 1932. His father was one of the oldest members of the First Zionist Association and a public activist in the Jewish community, In 1949 he immigrated to Israel as part of the Youth Aliya. He was drafted into the IDF in July 1950 and took a parachuting course. He was dedicated to his family and engaged in social life among the youth and his functions in the Nahal Brigade. He wanted to help support his widowed mother, but he was not able because on the 2nd of Av 5711 (August 4, 1951) he fell in the line of duty and was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Haifa.
