Moments before the order was issued to attack the enemy’s stubborn position, he whispered to his friend: “Be careful, you have a wife and child,” and he himself fell in the enemy’s bullet. It was on the first day of the fighting, June 26, 1967. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
