Ben-Kiki, Shulamit (Celine)


Shulamit (Celine), daughter of Leon (Yehuda) and Pnina son of-Kiki, was a member of the son of Kiki family, a deeply rooted Israeli family from Tiberias and Safed. She was born on March 28, 1938 in Alexandria, Egypt. The family immigrated to Israel in 1950 through France when Celine was eleven years old. Celine attended the Kol Israel Haverim school in Tiberias. Afterward, she studied for one year at the “Ma’aleh” school. At the age of fourteen she moved to Haifa, where she grew up. Celine belonged to the Hanoar Haoved Vehalomed movement. Celine was killed in a car accident on the 10th of Elul 5717 (6.9.1957) and was brought to rest in the military cemetery in Haifa.
