Ben Harosh, Amram

Son of Shimon and Hannah. He was born on July 6, 1933 in Tangier, Spain. He was seven months old when he died from his father and when he was six and a half years old, he was deprived of his mother. After the parents’ death, the eldest brother supported his brothers and sisters, but when Amram reached the age of fourteen, he decided to immigrate to Israel as part of the Youth Aliyah in 1948 and reached a safe haven. When he came to Israel, he stayed in kibbutzim (Kfar Giladi and Givat Hashlosha) and studied agriculture there. In his spare time he liked to read geography books because he liked this subject. In March 1952 he participated in the Sinai Campaign and served in the Nahal Brigade. He then moved to Haifa and Tel Aviv and finally settled in Be’er Sheva. He recently found his place as an income tax clerk and his superiors were pleased with his work. He would go to reserve duty and also on the eve of the Six-Day War was called to the flag. In the battle that took place in Rafah on June 10, 1967, the sixth day of the battles, he fell and was buried in the military cemetery in Bari and was later transferred to the military cemetery in Be’er Sheva. “In the booklet” Here is Be’er Sheva “(in the section” Respect for the Fallen – Condolences for Families “), his memory was raised.
